WHERE IS THE CIVIC THEATRE NEW ORLEANS LOCATED?

The Civic Theatre is located at 510 O’Keefe Ave, just off Poydras Street in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District. The theatre is nestled between the French Quarter, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and the New Orleans Arena.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There are two parking lots next to the theatre and several lots within a two-block radius of the venue. Street parking is also available. NOTE: Parking meters are enforced Monday – Saturday 8AM – 7PM, but are subject to change.  Click here for more information on parking.

HOW CAN I GET TICKETS TO A CIVIC THEATRE SHOW?

Advance tickets can be purchased online at civicnola.com, ticketfly.com, over the phone by calling Ticketfly directly at (877) 435-9849, or from our box office during our box office hours (no fees at box office). Box office hours are Fridays NOON-6PM and show nights. Box office on show nights opens one hour before doors and closes 30 minutes into headliner’s set. Box office accepts CASH, VISA, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. For specific box office questions not answered in the FAQ, you can reach us at boxoffice@civicnola.com

IS THERE A WAY TO AVOID PAYING TICKET FEES?

Yes, all tickets purchased through our box office come without fees! Our box office hours are every Friday NOON-6PM (except for holidays). We are also open on show nights – box office opens as early as one hour before doors.

CAN I PUT TICKETS IN SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME?

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled.

If a show is cancelled, refunds are available at point of purchase. You will be refunded automatically if you purchased a through Ticketfly. It will take 5-7 business days for the refund to hit your bank.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DOES CIVIC ACCEPT?

Our box office and inside bars accept CASH, VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Merchandise counter varies per show but typically accepts CASH, VISA, and Master Card. ATM is located on Poydras street next to Reginelli’s and Horinoya (re-entry is allowed for ATM access).

ARE THERE SEATS AT THE SHOW?

Yes, seats are located on the balcony and gallery for all our shows. General Admission shows are standing only on the floor, seats are first come first serve. Reserved seated shows have seats on each level (floor, balcony, gallery, and opera boxes).

IS THERE ADA SEATING?

ADA seating is available for every show on the first floor. Please select the ADA ticket type when purchasing your tickets through Ticketfly (if you will be coming with guests, let us know in advance so we can ensure your party sits together). If you need extra time getting to your seats, please arrive 15 minutes before doors open. Let our staff or security know you require ADA seating when you arrive and we will escort you to your seat. Please note that we do not have elevator access to the 2nd and 3rd levels.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET INTO THE VENUE?

Unless otherwise posted, our venue is all ages, all the time.

DO I NEED TO BRING ID?

In order to pick up tickets at Will Call, you need to bring an ID. If you plan to purchase alcohol, anyone 21 or older must show a government-issued photo ID before entering the venue.

WHAT KIND OF DRINKS DO YOU HAVE?

We have a full bar with a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and spirits. We do not offer any in-house food options.

DOES THE VENUE ALLOW SMOKING?

No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the venue. A smoking area is provided directly outside the front doors to the venue.

IS THERE RE-ENTRY?

There is no re-entry, and all exits are final (excluding the smoking area.)

WHAT TIME DOES THE BAND START?

The time listed on your ticket and on our show calendar on our website is the time doors open. The show is usually scheduled to start one hour after doors open. You can also find more information regarding each show time on our website and social media outlets. Set times vary and typically are not announced until day of show. All set times are subject to change without notice.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE MOST CURRENT INFO ON YOUR SHOWS?

Our website will always have the most accurate information for all our shows. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for any individual show updates. Facebook events are the best way to be kept in the loop for all our shows!

IS YOUR SHOW SOLD OUT YET?

Please check the show page on our website and Ticketfly to see if tickets are still available for each show. We will also notify patrons via social media of sold out shows.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I GET THERE TO GET A GOOD PLACE TO SEE THE SHOW?

We can say with confidence that there really isn’t a bad seat in the entire venue. For General Admission shows, seats on the balcony and gallery are first come first serve.

DO YOU RENT YOUR ROOMS FOR PRIVATE EVENTS?

Yes, the Civic Theatre is available for various private event functions. Please contact cali@civicnola.com for any inquiries.

ARE BAGS ALLOWED?

All bags may be subject to search upon entry. Backpacks, suitcases, and large bags are not permitted inside the venue. No outside food, beverages, markers, spray paint, weapons, or any items that may be considered a weapon are allowed.

CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?

Photo policy varies for each artist and is usually not determined until day of show. You can bring a nonprofessional camera to most shows, and you can inquire about the photo policy at the door on the day of show.

CAN I SHOOT THE SHOW PROFESSIONALLY?

All photo pass requests should be directed to the band’s publicist, label, or management.

WHAT DO I DO IF I LOST SOMETHING AT A SHOW?

If you lose an item at a show, please email the venue at boxoffice@civicnola.com.

HOW CAN I GET MY BAND BOOKED AT THE CIVIC THEATRE NEW ORLEANS?

The best way to book a show at The Civic Theatre New Orleans is to send your press pack to: Patrick Hill c/o The Bowery Presents South, 634 N. Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta GA 30306. Please list a show history (including where, when, ticket price and what they drew—be as specific as possible).

I HAVE A BLOG. DO I COUNT AS PRESS?

The Civic Theatre  doesn’t issue press passes or photo passes. All press inquires should be directed to the band’s publicist, label, or management.

CAN YOU GIVE ME THE CONTACT OF SOMEONE AT THE LABEL?

Unfortunately, we cannot give out that information, but Google and liner notes might help.

IS THERE A MILITARY OR SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT?

The Civic Theatre does not currently offer a military or senior citizen discount.

Admittance with a counterfeit ticket will be denied. We are not responsible for any counterfeit tickets purchased through StubHub or other third party ticketing sites.

You will be ejected for throwing ANYTHING or causing damage to any property of the Civic Theatre.
